What is Veloxa SmartSchool?

What it is, and what it is not

• The whole school officeAttendance registers, fees and numbered receipts, continuous assessment and exam marks, report cards, notices to families and parent accounts, in one place.
• It earns for the schoolThere is no setup fee and no subscription. Families can choose an optional Home Learning Pass, and the school earns up to 30% of every pass.
• Made for Ghanaian basic schoolsClasses from KG to JHS, terms, cedis and the GES 1 to 9 grade bands are part of the product. Each school sets its own weighting and bands.
• Nothing to installIt runs in the web browser on the phone, tablet or computer a school already has.
• Not a login for childrenChildren never get their own logins. A parent signs in once on their own phone.

Who uses it

• Headteachers and proprietorsSee the school at a glance: students, classes, teachers and today's open items.
• TeachersTake the register, record class work and marks, and prepare lessons and practice questions for their own classes.
• Office and accounts staffBill fees, record payments and print numbered receipts.
• Parents and guardiansSee each child's progress, report cards, fees and notices, and help their child practise at home.

A teacher at home in the evening

Beyond the office, Veloxa SmartSchool gives each child short lessons and practice at home, built on the topics their own school is teaching this term and starting where their marks are low. Every question is approved by the child's teachers before a child sees it.

Your school's records stay your school's

Each school's records are sealed off from every other school in the database. People see only their own part, scores, payments and published reports keep their history, and children's names are replaced before anything is sent to the AI.
