Free for your school. The school earns when families choose to learn at home.
There is no setup fee and no subscription. Registers, fees, report cards, notices and Ask cost the school nothing. Families who want more practice at home can buy the Home Learning Pass, and your school earns from every pass sold.
What costs what
- For the school: freeRegisters, fees and receipts, continuous assessment, report cards, notices, students and admissions, and Ask.
- For every family: freeReport cards, fee statements, notices, the progress view and basic practice.
- Home Learning Pass: GH₵50 per child per termOptional. Lessons and practice on the topics the child finds hard, on this term's work, approved by the child's teachers. Launching with our first partner schools.
What the school earns
- Half your families or more take the passThe school earns 30% of every pass, about GH₵15.
- A quarter or moreThe school earns 15% of every pass.
- The pass added to school feesThe school keeps 30% when it pays for every student by week 4 of term.
- First partner termPartner schools get 30% for their first term, whatever the uptake.
How the money is paid
The school's share is worked out after mobile money fees and refunds and paid out each term with a statement of counts and amounts. The statement never shows which families paid, and buying the pass never changes what the school records or reports about a child.
Common questions
Is there a catch for the school?
No setup fee, no subscription and no card. The platform is paid for by families who choose the Home Learning Pass.
Do families have to buy the pass?
No. Families are never pressed to buy it, and everything the school publishes about a child stays free.
Example: what could a school of 300 earn?
If 150 families take the pass, that is half, so the school earns 30%: about GH₵15 a pass, around GH₵2,250 a term.
